Texas Tactical Police Officers Association

The TTPOA fosters the exchange of information between agencies and members, the creation of standards of training, and to creation & distribution of affordable training resources for tactical officers and teams.

Our mission is to provide for the following:

1. Foster an exchange of ideas and information within the field of tactics and operations in Police work.

2. Foster friendship and cooperation among the personnel of the different member departments and agencies.

3. Stimulate research and the development of new methods, operations, techniques, procedures, and equipment within the field of Police tactics.

4. Encourage the record-keeping of information and data of value in the field of Police tactics.

5. Encourage a high level of professional competence among members, departments, and agencies.

6. Lend assistance and support in the formation of training programs.

7. Lend assistance and support in the development of new tactical teams.
